This is another temple: Kiyomizu-Dera ("Pure water temple"). This is an extremely scenic temple which has several temples inside and a great view down to Kyoto.

The temple was founded in 780 and is associated with one of the oldest sects in Japanese Buddhism. There is a scenic hike that can be made through a forest area but we were too hot and it may not have been stroller-friendly. We may try to go back to do this sometime.
